Lightstripe 290 (Input)

Lightstripe 290 (Centrepiece)

upper side

1 Input 1 ~/+ ( AC/DC/Digital )
2 Backlight - (LED 2V "-" Pol)
3 Backlight + (LED 2V "+" Pol)
4 Input 2 ~/-
( AC/DC/Digital )

Lower side Centerpiece

1 Input/ Output 1 ~/+ ( AC/DC/Digital )
5 Connection Decoder functions F0-F8
4 Input/ Output 2 ~/-
( AC/DC/Digital )

Lightstripe 290 (End piece)

How to shorten the stripe

Upper side End piece
1 Input / Output 1 ~/+ (AC/DC/Digital)

4
Input / Output 2 ~/- (AC/DC/Digital)

This light border can be separated between two LEDs (see picture above <--->) in arbitrary place separately.
Cut off pieces can be set at the end of the stripe again.
So a stripe can be inserted above into a bi-level car. Remaining pieces in the lower department can be supplied by 4 interwirings.
The stripe can be back-shortened up to 3 LED (control range). The minimum length amounts to 6,1mm.

Brief instruction for connections

1 Input / Output 1 ~/+ (AC/DC/Digital)
Two circuit path
: Connect the wheelconnectors left or right to this point
Center circuit path : Connect the wheelconnectors left / right to this point or the pick-up shoe
4 Input / Output 2 ~/- (AC/DC/Digital)
Two circuit path : Connect the wheelconnectors left or right to this point
Center circuit path : Connect the wheelconnectors left / right to this point or the pick-up shoe

Attention to the wiring !
More than one Input ( Bogie 1 and bogie 2) must be equal to the polarity.

Brief instruction for backlights

  • 2 Backlight Output "-"
  • You can connect our LED Backlights here (max. 2,0 V)
  • Hier können Sie unsere Schlusslicht LEDs anschliessen (max. 2,0V)
  • If you want to switch the backlight by function decoders (e.g. F1), connect "-" directly to the auxilary of the decoder
  • Wenn Sie das Schlusslicht über einen Funktionsdecoder
  • (z.B.:F1) abschalten wollen, schliessen Sie den "-" Pol der LED direkt an den Decoderausgang an.
  • 3 Backlight Output "+"
  • Connect "+" to this point (also with function decoders)

Brief instruction for special functions

  • 5 Controlling of individual LED on the light border
  • Connect one output of the decoder to this connector and your are able to make the LED flickering like a fluorescent lamp. Alternativ it's possible to switch off one or more LEDs for different compartments.(read the decoders instruction)
  • For this function the input of the stripe has to be wired to the decoders "+" and "-" (e.g. Lights for F0).
  • The second output has to be wired (e.g. AUX1 for F1) to the connector 5
  • Now you can switch on the whole LED-stripe and the function LEDs may be switched off or switched for flickering.
